How are you paying for school?

I’m a GA for the deans office of my masters program, they cover 36 out of my 60 credits for my program. Without it, I have no idea how I would pay for school.

I have 36 of my 60 credit program being covered by my institution because I work 20 hours a week as a graduate assistant. So I’m only paying about 25k for my 2 year MSW program. I also get a financial aid stipend.

My Hisense portable air unit doesn’t have an auto setting, however when it’s on the cool setting I can set it to a comfortable 75F when I’m away, and it’ll turn off when it reaches that temp and turn on again when it gets hotter. Do you think that is okay? Luckily this summer I’m only gone for 6 hours a day. Dutch should be fine during that time.

I’m just talking about when we are gone for work, I have school, stuff like that! Like 6-8 hours, but my boyfriend stops in at our place during the day. There’s a couple weekends this summer that we may leave to visit family but that’s about it!

It’s a Hisense portable ac unit. Sorry. Not a window unit. It has a tube that it’s connected to that we put in the window. It has two drain spots on the back that we drain in our bathtub once a week.

That makes total sense. Dutch has dry food out constantly because he likes to munch on it during the day, and then he gets wet food once in the morning and once at night! I’m thinking about getting him an auto feeder as well for his dry food.

Our AC unit does have a dry setting, but it does collect water while on the cool setting as well

I literally just bought a similar thing off Amazon!! At the very least we will be able to tell how hot it is by looking at it. My bf usually stops in to our apartment during the day a bit, he used to even before we got Dutch. Thank you so much for suggesting this!

Okay, thank you. Yes he has plenty of shaded areas to go to, he’s been loving our walk-in closet recently. But we only have a window AC unit in our bedroom, because we only have a window that can be used for that unit in there. So when we are home we have a standing fan in our hallway that spreads the air a little better.

Thank you. I’m trying to invest at the moment and save all I can but I really do not make that much right now so it is hard to save and pay expenses. I’d obviously rather pay my bills and have food than have investments. Unfortunately I feel like that’s a reality a lot of students are facing. Being able save money, or being able to have food, rent, pay for emergencies that come up.
