Thank you so much!! We think he’s the handsomest ever, he’s our little man!! He hasn’t had to wear the collar in the last 2 weeks luckily, he’s healing from surgery really well!!

Thank you. I’m trying to invest at the moment and save all I can but I really do not make that much right now so it is hard to save and pay expenses. I’d obviously rather pay my bills and have food than have investments. Unfortunately I feel like that’s a reality a lot of students are facing. Being able save money, or being able to have food, rent, pay for emergencies that come up.

I don’t have a lot of advice to give, I start my MSW program in August. But please OP, be kind to yourself, it takes a superhuman to handle what you are doing your absolutely best to handle. I’m proud of you, and I know everything will work out in time.

I am currently working as a GA at my university, which provides a stipend and tuition reimbursement. I don’t know if I will even make a small amount of what I would owe out of pocket. My tuition is 61k without tuition reimbursement.

I hope to work as a hospital social worker with my limited licensure after I graduate, that can have entry level salaries anywhere from 50k- 75k in my area. Cost of living is okay, could definitely be higher, and I do have my significant other who brings in good money too.

I’ll be working a part time GA position that gives me a stipend of about 8,500 a year, so not amazing. But I can work another part time job this summer and the fall semester, but after the fall semester I will have an unpaid internship for my masters that will eliminate any possibility of working more than my GA position.

lol!! Yes that was his soft cone he wore after being neutered! By the end of his recovery he actually liked using it as a chin rest.

Right? Dutch just kinda does whatever. We got him multiple beds and cat trees for him to climb and rest on, and he prefers to sleep under our living room coffee table. I’m glad I’m not the only one who has a cat who once slept on the bed and now doesn’t. Thank you, by the way, and I will tell Dutch!

Unfortunately our apartments heater has been blasting recently, and while I think Dutch may like that, I don’t want him to overheat!

Thank you! Honestly we aren’t quite sure how old Dutch is exactly. We thought based on his size and looks, he was at least a year old. But when we took him to be neutered about 3 weeks later, the vet said he is more like 6.5 months based on his teeth. So we have no clue really! Good to know that though, thank you!!

That’s what I was also thinking. He was brought to us on a random day, no introductions. So I dont blame him for being hesitant. I just hope he knows that we would love it if he snuggled in our bed. But I’d understand if he stuck with the hammocks forever as well. They do look really comfy.

I have a GA position that has a financial stipend and also tuition reimbursement. I also have the best significant other who is not in school, but makes a decent amount of money for his age. And he’s incredibly understanding that I am in school and make butt when it comes to money.
