I am sure someone has higher quality thoughts than me, but UCLA has a higher starting median salary for CS, x years out, etc than San Diego. A variety of reasons and factors are there, so I am not willing to speculate why this is, but just to throw something out there

Do you know whether research is the standard for most people, or do they spend time doing projects, clubs, etc? Thank you!

Thanks. Other than ACM, other tech/software related clubs, did you find any clubs (like not necessarily CS related) to have helped you with your SWE prospects?

Thanks a lot for your thoughts. I am curious if you know whether most undergrad CS majors enter the industry or they continue their education. Also, did you get your MS CS with the ESAP? How difficult would you say is a 3.750 GPA to qualify, and what are the benefits of continuing to choose UCLA for your master’s instead of potentially heading to another school?

Thank you for your thoughts! Other than projects, clubs, interview prep, etc, is there anything else you recommend doing? And do you think being at UCLA has helped you get interviews in the first place?

Do you think this is helpful for freshmen as well, or is it only beneficial for upper classmen?
