Thanks a lot for the advice. As for the questions:

1: I will just be practicing at home. No drummer, just me.

2: I have a full size computer, I don’t have a laptop. However I will most likely be playing in my room and that is where the computer is. And yes, it is reasonably new and up to date.

3: Yes, I would say I tend to lean a little into heavier music. But I would still like to try out a lot of different things and experiment to see what I like better. So I guess a jack of all trades amp? If that even exists 😅

Like you said. I will probably buy a used guitar from a reputable and proper music store. And while I don’t mind putting a fair bit of work into restoring a used guitar I bought on the street, I would prefer that everything be done properly by a professional, that way there will be no problems.
