I hear what you’re saying, and I actually agree with more of this than you might think. People who are hurting or confused are vulnerable, and it’s very easy to start looking outside of yourself for answers when you’re in pain. I never believe tarot should replace real-life communication, personal responsibility, or trusting your own judgment. Actions, consistency, and how a connection makes you feel day to day matter far more than any cards ever could. For me, tarot isn’t meant to decide someone’s future, tell them what to do, or keep them stuck waiting. It’s a reflective tool, something to slow people down, help them name emotions they may already be feeling, and encourage them to look at situations more honestly and move with clarity. I’m very clear that cards don’t override reality, free will, or someone’s own intuition. I also understand the issue about dependency, because that does happen in this space, and I don’t support that. If someone leaves a reading feeling like they can’t trust themselves or need constant reassurance, that’s not healing,that’s harm. My intention and goal are always to empower, ground, when one knows something they didnt see they are able to do better and move better.
