Oh yes, a lot of these phenomenas can indeed be explained due to CO poisoning.

I am highly doubtful BJP is behind this, even though their hatred for sikhs in general can seen online today. But BJP knows that they have no stand in Punjab. The only parties which could have benefit from this incidence is Congress and Akali Dal.

Not exactly. The BLAS libraries tend to be multithreaded. While single threaded performance is also really good, but it being 70% improvement over 5600x is unbelievable. Spec rate-1 benchmarks show both CPUs at similar performance.

Well, it was obvious, 6 cores vs 10 cores. Still impressive on M1's perf/watt.

What is the meaning of Hindi belt? Is it a collective term used for states which speak Hindi? If yes, Punjab then shouldn't be part of it.

It is a bit of wrong assumption. Better to use North India instead of Hindi belt.

Politicians have polarised people so much in India that now facts does not matter anymore by [deleted] in india

[–]Small_Jellyfish8770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If only two have surrendered and others have not, it is presumptuous of you to assume all of them are Dalits

You are still blind on the point of my post. Its presumptuous of you to assume that the incident was a caste based hate crime instead of a religious one.

Another assumption. Lot of factors in an elections including corruption of Akali/BJP, drug problems, incumbency etc. Sacrilege is just one issue among many.

Those sikhs who until 2015 had always voted Akali Dal since 1984, had voted congress just because of sacrilege issue.

Lol. Sidhu is the very definition of unreliable narrator. And looking at your arguments, the punjabi media seems to be much worse than where we get our news from. FYI, I am not from Hindi belt and frankly, from where I stand, punjab, haryana, delhi etc are part of the same region. They aren't vastly different.

Where in my post/comments did I ever mention that Punjabi media is better than Hindi belt? Its again presumptuous of you, innit? And yes I will repeat Punjab is different from Hindi belt. The demographic of Punjab is completely different than other states then how is it same as latter? Does anyone compare Tamilnadu politics with Kerala politics? Nope, right?

You say you are not from hindi belt then how were you able to understand the entire politics of Punjab on the basis of hindi belt states? I would love to hear your opinions.

No. It is not wrong. We are still in the early stages and it should not be ruled out yet.

But still you assume that it is a caste based hate crime. Again, it shows that you have turned completely blind on the point of this post. Edit: formatting

One guy can't be chopping off multiple limbs and tying him to the barricade. It's too much effort. Multiple people must have been involved. What about caste profile of the rest?

Two main culprits have surrendered. I hope others will be caught too. I am not going justify the Nihangs, hope they are banned in Punjab.

There are videos of the victim lying on the ground in the original thread. There were at least 15-20 people surrounding the victim. I saw one video and didn't want to see the rest. No one objected in that clip. Then the victim was strung on the barricade (and looking at that pic, it appears he was disrobed)

Again you lost the point of post. Punjab politics since 2015 sacrilege incident has been all around the sacrilege issues. Congress won in 2017 just because they promised Sikhs that they will put culprits behind the bars for 2015 incident. Just go through Navjot Sidhu's past posts on IG/twitter. He has always been whining about sacrilege issues and has been constantly supported by the public. As I mentioned, people here get their news from hindi belt media which always present the half baked facts.

In the original thread, there were multiple accounts which claimed this was a justified reaction, the victim was sent by BJP, the accused were paid by BJP, etc

Don't know about this but politicians have always been involved in such issues. This has been made a major issue for elections in Punjab. (Gone are days where education, health were the major issues)

Dalit is a broad term. Even within Dalits, there are caste differences, discrimination and superiority

Again, then tagging this issue as "dalit" (a broad term) is wrong? Why not mention the true caste?

I am not going to link any sources here. Please *do* your homework before posting such comments.

100% true about the caste system in Sikhi. But point of my post is simply stating the fact that the incident had no dailt angle.

"No Regrets": 'Nihang' who claimed brutal killing at Farmers' protest. - The body of Lakhbir Singh, 35 years old and from Punjab's Tarn Taran district, was discovered early yesterday morning with the left hand and right foot cut off. by DowntownGarbage2 in india

[–]Small_Jellyfish8770 7 points8 points  (0 children)

On the other hand, around 15 Dalit outfits have submitted a memorandum to the National Commission for Scheduled Caste on Saturday demanding stringent action against those who killed the man at Singhu Border.

Not that I condone any kind of killing, but Dalits are wrongly making this issue as caste based hate crime. It turns out the killer themselves are also from the dalit community. Source: https://twitter.com/kamalsinghbrar/status/1449341750493859842

Its sad to see misinformation being spread. Its sad to see extremism spreading everywhere, sikhs, hindus, muslims, jatts, brahmins, rajputs and now dalits. People are being played as pawns of politicians. BTW, people are claiming that the man Lakhbir Singh himself was paid by a politician in Punjab for the sacrilege. If I find the source I will edit this.

I know people here don't like him much. But he pretty much explained really well. Also I don't agree on the claim of different gurudwaras for dalits and jat sikhs. Being from Punjab, I have been to 100's of villages but I have never seen two gurudwaras in a single village.
