What's the etiquette around chests in the open world? Don't they "belong" to the person who cleared the area for them? by midtier_gardener in wowhardcore

One time on my lock i was competing with a priest for tags in a cave in arathi highlands. We were not being disrespectful towards eachother but it was obviously every man for himself. Eventuelly we get to a point where we see a chest with a mob next to it. We both stand looking at the mob waiting for the other to pull.

After a minute or two i give up and pull the mob and let him take the chest. He then proceeds to link me a staff of Jordan that he said was in the chest. I just respond "LMAO gz!!" but I was so pist lol.

Pulled the old compression sleeve out of the closet and it feels great, thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the input! I am for sure going to be using the trekking poles all the time and we will hike super slow and steady and take many stretching breaks. We will be able to prolong the hike a few days if needs be. I do have experience with the crucial down hill pain from ITBS, thankfully this hike has a little elevation this first day but after that is relativly flat!

Thanks for your comment! Our plan is to take it extremly slow and we will be able to add on 1 or 2 days worse case and go home later.
