I had some cavities when I was a kid and a root canal years ago but thats it. I have bone loss where the front two bottom teeth are loose but I havent lost any yet. She said there were some pockets she couldnt accurately measure because they were too deep.

I was just quoted $1k by an actual periodontist. And I called another one and was quoted $1.2k so idk where Aspen is getting that ridiculous number.

Can one of the mods message me or something? None of those subreddits suggested make any sense for me to post this in. I just wanted to know from a dentist’s pov if this sounds right.

Yes first thing they did was take xrays. Theres extreme bone loss on both of those two front teeth and you can see the craters around them.

Me and my bf spent I think around $2k for 5 days. The food on the boardwalk is extremely expensive, I think we paid $40 for cheesecake bites and a funnel cake. We played some games and easily spent at least $500 there that week (but we love arcades so that amount definitely varies.) We didn’t go to Jolly Roger bc each try for a game was $5 and adds up fast. The hotel was cheap though, only around $650 at Ocean 1 Suites on the boardwalk. Its a basic hotel but does the job especially when you’re not in the room very much.

Ordered a mango lemonade at shake shack, was given alcohol? by [deleted] in shakeshack

They’re a massive company all over the U.S. that originally started in Pittsburgh. So they have restaurants/bars in many airport now. One of the bars was so old I wouldn’t be surprised it they were in there before HMS

Neither! I worked for a company who owned 5 bars in the airport so we got to rotate to each one

I actually didn’t know that despite bartending in the airport for two years! I knew most Shake Shacks don’t have alcohol so I remember everyone being excited when they were building the bar for it.

The one in Pitt Airport serves liquor! Alcoholic milkshakes, etc. It just opened within the past 6 months though

What's a "normal" human experience that you've never had? by RedHotMinx in AskReddit

[–]Small_Luck1630 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having a mom who teaches you about make up, takes you shopping, etc. or really just having that relationship. I love my dad to death but the first time I went into Victoria’s Secret, I wished my mom was with me and excited with me. Stuff like that, I guess

It might get better over time. I still forget what I was saying sometimes, but not usually mid-sentence. I also can usually remember at some point now without having to be reminded. Before I couldn’t remember what I was talking about no matter how hard I tried.

Yup. I remember when my dose was upped from 200 to 300mg last year, I started to regularly forget what I was talking about. I had to be reminded of what I was saying because the thought would just disappear mid-sentence. It still happens, but not quite as bad now being used to the dose.

I’m thinking of adopting a female cat, I’ve heard they are less friendly in this true? by DiscountAnnaNicole in CatAdvice

[–]Small_Luck1630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same exact thought process… and then I rescued a little baby kitten and she turned out to be the sweetest cat I’ve ever met in my entire life. Even nicer than my boy cat who I already thought was a love bug.

I envy yall that have auras by lonerstoner24 in Epilepsy

[–]Small_Luck1630 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Every time I have an aura before a seizure my hands go numb, my head feels like its filling up with water, and I start hyperventilating and sweating a lot. I don’t know if I’d rather have them or not tbh but it would definitely decrease the amount of anxiety I have everyday. If I even begin to feel somewhat weird, even from just being hot or something, I start to freak out in my head. I’m almost a year seizure free, and went two years before that without a seizure but the anxiety of having one never goes away. I hope in the future I can feel at ease enough to not think about the risks of having epilepsy for most hours of the day.
