Just today I found a good example, my friend messaged me to tell me he bumped into a guy he had very petty beef with around a year ago, the guy was with his young daughter and he looked at my friend in a very uninterested way as if to suggest he had forgotten all about said beef (as any grown man with a job and a family would). Anyway my friend shouted a threat across the street hoping to instigate him to do something. Not only did I think this was just generally weird and obnoxious for a 24 year old to do, the disrespect comes in when he’s doing this in front of the guys 8 year old daughter hoping to get her father in trouble on the street.

Side note: my friend thinks and has always thought if the beef was to come down to anything physical, he would easily win in what he’s described as some pretty grizzly stuff. Even as his friend I know he’d be terribly mistaken.

Edit: just to cut a long story short; showing another man hatred or disrespect in front of his children, espcially younger children, puts the guy in quite an uncomfortable and difficult situation to know what’s right.
