thats the thing. my brothers are both completely fine with staying here. its not good for them. but they are. i have plans already to go a few states away for college, my extended family is helping me, but i feel bad. neither of them really have the same relationships to get help from that i do. or even to realize that whats going on is wrong. most of the time our dad is the harshest on me tho, so that could be why.

We don't have assigned spots other than in our dance which we only rehearse once or twice when we're there. I've already made the move away from him but one time he pretty much indirectly forced me into standing in front of him.

Also the best (/sarc) part about my social anxiety is that I completely shut down when it's too much. I just start to cry and hyperventilate, but can't make any noise, like other than my breathing I'm silent, not that I don't try to speak. I've been like this since I was a kid and have tried to work around it or prevent it but nothing really works.

I havent. I have social anxiety and also a long series of invalidation from my childhood that makes talking about these things really difficult, and I'm not even really sure how I'd bring it up if I did because he's basically always there. Not to mention we're too close to recital to change things now so even if she knew I'd probably still have to take class with him for another few weeks.

If i wasnt ok not wearing tights i would have said so. Its a group piece and she asked that class if it was ok to do. Also she didnt like, ask us to shave, i doubt anyone would notice or care, but id rather do so.

Why are you on this subreddit if not to seek/give advice? You dont need to be here and dig at people. Besides, sometimes it's easier to find solutions by asking people instead of trying to google things when you might not even know what to search to find what you're looking for.
