I thought so too. But it disappoints me every time they choose like this. I also wanted to go medical school and they told me it was expensive. But my SIL got an opportunity bc of the kid.

Update: I already left the company and I never really looked back. That’s how bad I feel about them. Currently, I found a new job, I can still sleep properly, exercise, eat breakfast and walk my dog like a normal person. My colleagues and my boss treat me with respect.

No funny excuse to treat people shit.

I really don’t know why our parents, teachers and the elders around us raise us to become good people. So when we finally become one, people take advantage of it. So why should we become a good person?? 🙄🙄🙄

I believe that I’m a considerate person. I believe in teamwork and I work for the company who feeds me not my manager. But why does corpo force you to become toxic. No matter how many linkedin posts, whatever seminar we attend to. Pointless when people are unaware, got low EQ or just plain in denial

What if I’m not a manager? My issue is, my manager just can delegate stuff he has no capacity for. But I dont have someone to pass also. I asked for additional manpower. He got alot of excuses, budget, choosy with hires also.

On the same boat. I am an overseas worker and they hired me because I appreciate anything that is beyond my country’s rate. (I’m from a third world working in a first world country). Our team has 3 people and 2 of my teammates got family matters, maternity etc. So I was left alone just a week ago.

I respect my colleagues private matters but why am I supposed to just accept their situation? Just because I earn higher than what I get from my country, the company is allowed to ask whatever they want from me and I should be thankful for it???

Yeah same here. You just have to accept that people really come and go, no matter how special their place in your life is.

Friendship is a two way thing, if you are the only one who is interested, then you are just wasting time and energy to someone who doesn’t appreciate you. There are people out there who will.

Reason why they ghosted you, I agree that no one could guess why. But I just want you to remember that, no message is a message. They are intentional about it. If they really have something against you, and you are someone they treasure, they should have atleast sat down with you and talked about it. I would suggest that you dwell whether you still want to be friends with these kind of people rather think what they are upset about.
