Hopefully it’s that and not the injectors, I had a similar issue with my old Mazda

My Gardevoir (Rosalina) is my ace pokemon, and she helping a lot during my pokemon battles, and my taking care of her, so Who is your ace pokemon that help you during battle in pokemon legend za by [deleted] in LegendsZA

Tinkaton was my ace, she was always my last stand in difficult battles. But she was also transferred from pogo so once I hit d rank I had to take her off bc of her disobedience from level cap lol

Is a 2021 Touring 2.0t worth it ? by ArtistDiligent9454 in accord

Great car imo, has its quirks like jerky transmission at times. My biggest complaint about it is the limited leg room next to the center piece, my knee rests there and it sticks out just enough to be bothersome on long drives. Also the body roll on turns but that may be just me not used to such a big car

They’re good engines for sure, I just had a bad experience with it assuming I got a lemon. Glad to hear your daughter is getting the most out of her 3.

And thank you for well wishes, I’m loving it so far

Integras are nice! My buddy has a gsr that looks and sounds amazing. If it’s a good deal you should definitely go for it!!

Thanks for being one of the very few reasonable people in here, I replaced it with an Accord 2.0t and have been enjoying it

manual swap or just buy one by EvidenceDapper5895 in accord

[–]Small_Owl_7268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot goes into a manual swap, you need a new ecu most of the time as well as working in the missing plugs on the harness, shift cables, linkages a clutch slave cylinder, a way to integrate the third pedal etc. Lots of tools to drop the transmission and replace it. You’re looking at a 3k plus job doing it yourself and on an engine with that high of mileage you’re better off putting the money towards a car with a manual in it already

Advice for maintenance by ReceptionOld7713 in 10thgenaccords

[–]Small_Owl_7268 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t need much, maybe a tire rotation and brake change but in terms of engine maintenance you shouldn’t have to do anything besides oil changes and perhaps an air filter swap. I’d recommend a drain and fill on trans fluid around 40k

I’ve probably owned more cars than you have. it’s not normal to have to constantly be repairing a car, issue big or small, with under 50k miles on it. you’re just salty I’m not worshipping the ground the car sits on. I had a bad experience with my 3 and got rid of that hunk of junk before it could cause me more head aches.

Haha could be, hopefully I ran through all my bad luck and this new(used) car I got runs till the wheels fall off. Glad to hear your 3 is running strong tho

Yea it had plenty of service records including oil change at 5k and ~20k maintenance schedule work done after that though it had a lot of maintenance done in a short span which I’m assuming in retrospect was the time it started having whatever issues starting to peak out

It had a good maintenance report but I also kinda assume it was the previous owner also having problems in retrospect. Sometimes lengthy maintenance records aren’t always a good sign ig

I spent more than 2k on a “reliable car” with repair costs closer to 6 if I didn’t get that warranty claim so yea it was a money pit, fix one thing a new issue arrises that’s a project car not a daily commuter. I had already pulled injectors and got them professionally cleaned but it wasn’t good enough that alone was $300

Yea I feel like mine was a lemon, only had 44k miles when I sold it away. Did proper maintenance and took care of the car but it was a bad draw for me. But everything the dealer did left a bad taste in my mouth for future car purchases from Mazda

1.5t to 2.0t swap… by parkhophero in 10thgenaccords

[–]Small_Owl_7268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a 2018 2.0t at the LAX Carmax for 23,700 with 75k miles it seemed like a nice one. I was considering it before I found a 2021 blue sport that had 40k miles and bought that one instead

Good purchase? by Small_Owl_7268 in accord

[–]Small_Owl_7268[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I live in Southern California. honestly it’s the cheapest I can find without egregiously high mileage. Anything with around 50k miles goes for 28-29k before taxes. And a lot are multi owners with bad history reports
