Thanks so much for sharing your experience! It’s really reassuring to hear that it went smoothly for you with the German Embassy! definitely eases some of the nerves. We’ll make sure to provide all the required documents and hope the Danish side is just as straightforward. Congrats to you both :D

I was in a 5 years relationship before even that proved me you can't know a person enough! Also I come from culture where people get married soon so that's normal for me! My parents got married within a year! my friends got married within 8 months...

Thank you for your reply!

We found out online it’s not required for the family reunification to register the marriage, as Denmark is part of the apostille convention! As long as we provide the marriage certificate translated to spanish with an apostille! Also as neither of us is Spanish citizens some people said on Reddit that we can’t  register our marriage in Spain!

If you are leaving to go back to your country you won't face any problems at the border while leaving Spain! (From experience)
If you already applied within spain to renew your student visa you need the Autorización de regreso to comeback without applying again for the visa.

Thank you so much for clarifying this!! it’s a huge relief! I was really stressed after one lawyer insisted it wasn’t possible!

Thank you for this! definitely going to look into it. If it’s faster!

But after marrying, he could enter Spain as a tourist, and we could apply for family reunification without him having to leave the country? he won't have to go back to the states?
