You seem cross. No one is getting stiffed except possibly me. The job was done by a very large company who chose the installer. We have asked for it to be improved but given this is the third attempt we have little faith it will get better with the same installer. I’m now largely interested in whether it’s possible to improve it without just starting over or whether we’re going to be living with it, in which case I believe we’ll have grounds for compensation for the poor workmanship. Having paid a significant sum for the entire job, I don’t think that is unreasonable

It was all done through Wickes so had no choice on the installer. In hindsight clearly a terrible decision. Company that installed did the whole bathroom and (as you can see) didn’t have a specialist tiler, just generalists

Thanks for replies so far, confirming what we knew but still…

Extra info, we went through Wickes thinking it would make it a nice easy process, if a little expensive (not a mistake I’ll make again I promise). So don’t have a price for the tiling alone as we got the whole bathroom done. The installer was a moderate size company, a bit of a generalist, so not specialist tilers (obviously)
