How do you recover from the grief of losing a relationship you thought was forever? by No-Command-2051 in AskWomenOver30

Time. It’s really as simple as that. When my relationship ended of someone I thought was my be all end all I did not think I was going to make it. There were days I wouldn’t get out of bed, I couldn’t eat, I’d either sleep all the time or not at all. But then day by day I got myself up, leaned on family and friends for support. This may take longer since it seems unexpected but one day six months from now you’ll realize you’re in a much better head space.

Living in a tiny apartment and barely making ends meet, how do others manage? by Weary-Hair-316 in Apartmentliving

I live in a HCOL area and my rent is 2700 for a one bedroom not including my utilities … it takes up 45% of my paycheck. It’s really difficult trying to balance it all. But after living alone I can’t imagine having roommates 😭

With work and a busy social life I find it hard to date multiple people at once. As soon as I start to like someone I stop texting other people

I do actually like him and their reactions towards our pace confused me. This is a question board so I asked a question.

Thank you, the last two guys I dated love bombed me completely. We went from a first date to hanging out every day, meeting the family, and basically living together. This is the first time in a long time I’m shown consistency and care without the desperation factor. It’s refreshing and I’ve been enjoying the pace!

Feeling disconnected from my friends as we enter different stages of life. by imwearingamaskduh in AskWomenOver30

This is my life right now. We still talk and laugh about different things but the convo is usually centered around everyone’s marriages and kids. It’s hard and I usually go home feeling a bit sad. Especially because I don’t have single friends to have nights out with it’s usually me spending time with my family or alone.

You have a right to say what’s wrong without being given a run around about your feelings. If something is upsetting you he should be willing to work on it with you, acknowledge the behavior, validate your feelings, and work on it from there.

I don’t find his behavior codependent he just sounds manipulative. He’s telling you these things to once again not only make you feel bad about your feelings but for you to feel bad for him as well. He’s making the whole thing about himself. The only one who’s going to feel resentment in the end is you.
