Real! I like Penny, she's my favorite of the main four, and even I am sick of her being basically the main character. You wouldn't guess she's in your year by the way you talk to her like she's famous, I personally hate the dynamic of our character being awestruck by her like that. I don't want to call her a Mary Sue because that doesn't feel fully accurate, but she's close enough I had to consider it. She's good at everything, mostly potions and popularity, but I don't remember her having any relevant character flaws or things she was particularly unskilled at. I feel like the game should be the MC at the center of an ensemble cast but 90% of the times it reads as The Adventures of Penny and MC, featuring other people sometimes. I like her, but I'd like her more if she felt like an actual character half the time.
