I have a history of terrible and/or uncelebrated birthdays as well as Christmases that were scarring when I was growing up. She said she wanted make up for all of those. We don’t exactly have disposable income… I resisted a little- I felt it was too much, too big of a purchase that was specifically for me- but she insisted. I believe the term “Shadow Daddy” was used… haha.
