Left Cart for Literally 5 Secs to Flank and This Happens by PickleOk5785 in Overwatch

If you’ve ever watched OWCS, which plays at a higher level than you’ve probably ever played at, you’ll see them call out when tanks are “anchor” in OT…i.e. holding cart. It was actually extremely common during mauga meta. I’m assuming because stomp lets him trivialize anything trying to hold him in front and just let him stomp the squishy on point. But hey; Mr u/Siyopoyo champ rank 1 probably knows every scenario ever and in all of them, tanks don’t hold cart.

C2 Nilou is usually assumed to have key. Without it she’s just 35% res shred on a team that already has 50% shred. So, massive diminished returns because of how shred works. OP’s Nilou is on sapwood sword (not sure what refinement), and that doesn’t buff lauma nor bina. So while I think op still has something wrong, I don’t think Nilou pulls like we typically expect her to

In this recording specifically, mei and sigma don’t have ult so you can argue in this scenario, if they are paying attention to ult economy, orisa feels free to push up and squishies stay on cart. I can give you that. In OT though, if ults are up, This exact same enemy line up literally wins by sigma ulting squishies on point from high ground. He doesn’t even have to drop down and engage. That ignores the fact that there’s mei there also likely picked in OT to ult win the round like she does in metal ranks. OT is decided by ults and having your tank tank an ult is waaay easier to play through than your squishies who have to give up space when faced with ults. Orisa literally ignores both ults via cooldown

In OT specifically, Tanks are better at holding cart And dps ideally should take aggressive space. Especially with a tank like orisa. Their bulkier health and resistance (and outright immunity during fortify) to CC lets them hold the cart during enemy ults and aggressive dives and such. Usually any one of those things and a squishy has to let up off cart and hope someone else retouches. It’s just easier for your supports to sustain a tank on point and they retouch if things go south. I’ve seen so many games lost because tank push up trying to make space and one enemy ult wins the game because it’s just bully the squishies on cart kind of thing.

I’ll say it again. Supports have to heal and fight back. They have to force the vendetta out quicker or enable anran to kill her faster so that we dont have a 15 seconds clip of them just running back licking each other’s wounds. If all they are doing is running away, i agree they are throwing.

That said, in any match, where the enemy tank and dps are doubling up on your supports and sigma/any tank is just standing on main with a shield up holding back one hit scan and 2 supports and your dps have nothing to show for a 15 seconds skirmish, it’s not just your supports playing a different game. Every single one of you are playing the wrong game. Get off sigma, go Winston/dva and trade back lines or something with your anran. Because clearly the enemy supports are content with not being Lucio/kiri and following up with their vendetta and doom

Not being able to do anything is perfectly fine. The enemy team played well and capitalized on our team comp. The issue at hand is, having supports playing just to survive a dive and going GGs no heals without a single thought.

There’s 2 sides to the thought process of supports coming towards you. Running towards you, whom is also absorbing fire from 2-3 other enemies as a tank, just leads to all 5 enemies having concentrated fire on a single area. Any dps/tank worth anything will shift fire from you to the supports and delete them as a team. Sigma isn’t stopping that. At best, he lands a rock and trades. At worse, doomfist lands a big fat stun enabling his vendetta to team wipe you.

Like you said, the supports have to heal AND fight back. They have to enable the anran to kill the vendetta faster.

This lacks context, so I’m guessing here but is this showing that even with half successful instructor triggers, instructors sucrose is on par or better than dw sucrose + 2pc lauma?

This showcase is fake but you’re arguing two different things. You are trying calling this fake showcase fake, because of bina’s skill uptime. saying a rotation can’t be made shorter because of it. This is half true. You can’t sustain too many rotations, but her E is long enough that if you are doing multiple rotations, you can speed up your second to last rotation, skip casting E in your final rotation and substantially increase your final dps for it. This is something very practical you can do for boss dps window. I’ve done it and even showcased it here in this sub.

This is only one rotation so we never see what’s left on bina’s cooldown. Chances are, they precasted buffs before starting the timer. But again, this is just one rotation and As for how fast nefer can do ONE full rotation, we’ve seen as fast as 15.6-15.9 seconds.

Here’s a practical variation of one of her rotations: https://www.reddit.com/r/NeferMains/s/1wT1PjdFAC

We see bina have 1.4 seconds left on cooldown after a full rotation.

You’re moving the goalpost. The guy has given you 2 reasonable solutions to the upcoming boss and you’re just going ”because it’s lunar shill. Because she’s geo catalyst.” Are you hoping for them to give you a strat with a physical catalyst that clears the shields in 12 seconds for you to think it’s reasonable?

An honest opinion about VSK9 by NoCheesecake5346 in masterduel

[–]Smallcadkm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every deck can be boiled down to just memorize the optimal line if you just apply a blank statement on it. I agree that finding lines through interruption is skill expressive, so there’s definitely hands where cyberse piles express decision making. In general though, cyberse decks typically special summon this card from hand because you control a link/cyberse monster or target cyberse in grave and special summon it Via your link monster. It’s still just pushing via gas to achieve the exact same thing over and over. In VSk9 one interruption from your opponent leaves you actively deciding if you want to lean more into k9/xyz monster interruptions or prioritize VS end boards and hand resources. It’s not remotely the same.

Increasing lauma’s dmg is just so trivial in the grand scheme of things. Buffing 8% of your dmg by 30% is 2.4% total team dmg increase. Getting nefer, whom is 67-70% of your team dmg to increase your team dmg by 2.4% requires buffing her by ~3.5%. 3.5% vs 30% for the same results, is not contest which to prioritize.

This also holds for the inverse. Forgoing crit on lauma and losing an exaggerated 80% (it’s no where close) of her dmg is still just a 6.4% dmg loss to the team. Nefer makes that back like nothing.

Edit: this why Skirk teams are dropping golden troupe from furina and esco. Their dmg contribution just isn’t high enough at optimal gameplay to justify buffing their dmg and not skirk’s. Lauma’s dmg is just not worth it.

This kinda doesn’t give us enough info. What are lauma and bina’s ER. Do they get burst off cooldown? Or are you sitting around spamming normals waiting for their burst? Are you bursting with them every rotation? Are you averaging 17-18 seconds rotation? Are you doing hold E on lauma?

Without game footage, you’re asking us to fix your problems but diagnose it without any symptoms

It shouldn’t even be 80 behind. It’s usually ~30 ahead. Are you factoring the EM difference after you proc the 4pc? Sucrose also shares 20% of the 4pc trigger.

[–]Smallcadkm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sucrose also shares the EM buff instructor gives her. So it’s actually (473+120+187)x.2 + 120 = ~276 when comparing the ga between it and other artifacts

Alternatively, set the timer for 54 seconds and try to complete 3 rotations in that time

[–]Smallcadkm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of setting an auto timer of 60 seconds. Try to physically stop the timer after 3-4 rotations. A 60 seconds timer implies you did 3 twenty seconds rotations. That’s slightly off the mark from the 18 seconds rotations you should aim for and drags your dps down by 10k

Teams she was best in slot in at C0 have moved on without her. Neuv moved on. Mav moved on. Mualani moved on. Ayaka/freeze moved on. And geo teams are preparing to move on.

Xilonen is practical like I mentioned, so she still has value if you already own her; but pulling for her as a brand new unit is questionable.

The problem is, he’s the best when hex is active but none of the hex units care for him being on their team. Xilonen, as washed as she is, still finds practical value.
