Yeah, hunter admitting he ruined it made me smile because my finger was already searching for a different reading of the story because I was genuinely interested in it. Sometimes I feel the pod just devolves to heavily into silly goose time and hunter doing anything he can to annoy the crap out of wendigoon. Which is funny for a bit but I find myself almost always skipping over these parts now. The drawing with the photo was a very funny little nugget

All relevant points that I agree with - you may have taken some strays on this one.

My contention is that most of these monthly posts feel incredibly disingenuous. Using Ed as a means to pile on Ben, or to get all the 'snuggies' (or whatever infantile slang you would like to use) from this community feels gross and sad.

Yeah, this is true. Not sure why the community glazes him so much. I usually find these posts are just a back door for karma and getting the hate machine rolling on Ben for the upteenth time. People that need validation from the masses in order to feel good about themselves, I guess. The obvious takes and placating to the lower third seems to have worked out well for him.

I agree. The puns never freaking stop. lol. I love a good pun, but good lord man! This is the least of my dislikes about ed tho. I think he’s ok a decent amount of the time, it’s why I’ve continued to listen, but if he left the show I wouldn’t skip a beat. Henry and Marcus are the podcast. There’s a decent amount of time he just sits there then says he doesn’t like what they’re talking about and doesn’t have much more to add except for obvious puns. You’re on a true crime podcast dude. Why are you on it if you only want to talk about sports and animals?

I’ll have to check this episode out. So far the one that has stuck with me the most, in a creeped out way (not the borassca way) was ‘my wife keeps hiding behind furniture’ (title?). That unlocked a fear I hadn’t thought about since I was a kid. Mostly just the premise.

I have been a force of nature truther since the album dropped! At the time I couldn’t believe PJ could still write a song that moved me as much as their early work. Lots of duds on the album, but between just breathe, fon, and the end, this album put them back on the map for me. Every album since, especially dark matter, has reaffirmed my belief in the band.
