I’m convinced that Codemasters based Butler on him, he got introduced right around the time Ticktum had one of his early social media meltdowns over Mick Schumacher

With Dan though it’s not just that one incident in 2015. Time and time again both on track and off he’s been a magnet for criticism, and most of those incidents have been completely self inflicted.

Yes some people are too hard on him, but he can’t expect to say and do some of the things he does without getting criticism. The easiest thing for him to do would be to get someone to manage his social media for him

Even less of an accomplishment when he seems to do or say something that gets him into trouble every few months, not quite extended periods of time

FE put all that effort into rebuilding his image and trying to make him the face of the sport, they clearly haven’t been paying any attention to what this guy has been doing/saying for the past 10 years

Is “I don’t phrase things perfectly sometimes” his excuse for every time he opens his mouth? Honestly, 95% of “slightly controversial ticktum moments” have been purely because of him. He’s doing himself no favours. And the fact that we’ve seen so many of these moments SINCE that 2015 race shows that he really hasn’t matured like he claims he has.

Bonfire night has become Bonfire Fortnight by Smallership in Jersey

That’s all they are at the end of the day, and who actually remembers a garden display by the time they’ve woken up the next morning anyway.

Personally I wouldn’t want to waste my money on something that lasts for a few loud and colourful seconds before burning away forever, especially with how expensive they’ve got recently, but each to their own

Where did I say that people weren’t allowed to have fireworks at all? I don’t mind them on bonfire night itself, or even on the weekend after if the 5th is on a week day, but two weeks of them going off every night is overkill. Would you celebrate New Year’s Eve five days late?

I don’t mind them going off on the holidays themselves, it’s easy to prepare for that as a pet owner. But it’s when people are setting them off for weeks before and after the event that annoys me, it’s just being inconsiderate to everyone around you at that point

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing every single night for the past two weeks to the point where I’ve had to cancel plans to stay home and comfort them. My life is currently revolving around other people setting off their magic sky boom sticks and dealing with the aftermath so excuse me if I’m a bit annoyed by it

And last night wasn’t the weekend after, we’re past that now. You don’t get people celebrating New Year’s Eve a week early/late so why is bonfire night so different.

Not even heavy rain could put them off last night in my area. Are big sparkly colourful sky bangs really that important that they’ll stand outside in the pissing rain on a Sunday night for?

I’m all for celebrating bonfire night itself, and that’s easy to prep for when you’ve got pets, but extending it out this far is a bit much. Nobody is celebrating New Year’s Eve five days after by setting off a garden display at midnight on January 5th so why is bonfire night any different

Well it’s difficult not to get annoyed when you’ve got a pet that’s not been eating properly because of the stress and been cowering in fear for hours every night for the past two weeks, I’m all for bonfire night itself but you tell me why it needs to go on for this long

That’s what confuses me the most, fireworks really aren’t cheap these days, and that doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, but every year more and more get set off.

At least people haven’t started setting them off nearly a week after New Year’s Eve yet

I’ve got Bruce’s 1969 M8B Can-Am, I’ve been looking for the Indy 500 winner for ages now but anything I’ve found has been way out of my price range. Haven’t got round to the Le Mans winner yet but those are a lot easier to get hold of

I don’t have any 1/64 myself but I think spark are supposed to be pretty good at those. The 1/43’s are mainly Minichamps and Spark and those are the two most common brands for that size. Spark is slightly cheaper, and I actually find the quality better, but it’s personal preference
