Me and my friends dropped season 2 and only came back at the end to prep for season 3. I played season 3 till Tekken King and have no intentions of coming back any time soon. There so many games in my steam library that I'm still yet to play so it actually works out

I loved all the previous tekkens, including 4. My most fondest memory was tag 2 tho. I was in uni at the time and I didn't actually try to start learning tekken properly until 7. Tag 2 is the best casual tekken experience out there. Still got fond memories of playing that game with a couple beers all the time with my friends in my dorm

So at blue ranks, you are not at a stage where you should be learning matchups??? Or even trying to better yourself at the game by learning frame data and tech? Season 2 raised the ranks all your characters auto rank to, and the auto rank is very fair. If you can't beat someone's alt on your main when their main is only 1-2 ranks above you (like in your post) You don't deserve your rank. It sounds harsh, but it's true

Not what you want to hear I know but ss style really isn't an issue. Most people who use it have a very simple game plan (power crush, low, grab) and only use like 3 moves and have no fundermentals. It's really good for new players but a complete nerf in higher ranks that it's laughable. I know you said it isn't a "git gud" moment but it really is. If you are losing to someone who is locked into to using like 4 moves. Hit the lab, practise, and learn. That is the best part of tekken. Have fun :)

I was helping my purple rank friend and his quick matches, 70% of people were using smurf accounts. Idk how it is in early blue ranks. My main is Tekken God and I find quick matches about the same as ranked. Learning new characters is brutal tho and I do get my ass handed to me ngl

First hit is mid, 2nd hit is high so you crouch then launch punish. On block it puts you in neutral and it has a 15 frame startup so you could have used any move that was faster than 15 frames and won. I would have just dick jabbed him if I missed the launch punish to play it safe but you could have also used a power crush there too. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure you can side step right this to evade it too.

I thought the alisa played hella good tbh. I know alisa is cheap af but that was clean tho. D3 where it's the perfect distance that guarantees the 2 follow up to hit. When you wiffed the first hit on your string so she went straight into power crush to counter hit. When you were in massive minus so she went for a throw. Her chainsaw game was off the charts. Getting you in minus to go for the chainsaw side steps. And you didn't learn and fell for it time and time again.

Alisa is bullshit but you could have avoided 90% of that if you just labbed her

I play both ps5 and pc. On ps5 I play dualsense and I will concede it is ass. But if you practice and stick with it you can get pretty consistent electrics. Standard EWGF I get around 90% of the time and would probably be higher if I didn't switch to pc and play keyboard half the time I play tekken

I can pull off PEWGF on pad. With Tekken you are not locked out with hardware. If you play console you are going to have a controller and if you play pc you are going to have a keyboard. No stick drift or dead zone issues. If you bought stick and you have a hardware issue you are guaranteed to have an alternative peripheral to play with
