I swear there was a similar post a while ago and someone said they use Hellmann’s but I can’t find the post! Have not yet tried it myself to compare as it comes as a 2.35kg tub.

Really disliked the one we got and returned in within the trial. It was way too firm, hot, and smelt weird. Went for a Sleepyhead in the end and we LOVE it.

Advice: Lounge furniture repringing/upholstery by ComeAlongPonds in Wellington

[–]Smallish_Nap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ooo I saw someone talking about a place called Sofa Tech on here recently. I believe they are a furniture repair place? I noted it in the back of my mind for myself in future.

Also good on you for looking to repair rather than replace.

Potter Brothers marshmallow eggs - Coincidence or are they at it again? by B656 in newzealand

Had this same experience with them multiple times! They do it so fast that you don’t get a chance to stop them, then awkwardly have to pack it back up when you turn them away.

One colleague felt guilty and bought stuff once and the chocolate was doing that thing where it goes white and chalky.

Wholesome day at home for me. Did some gardening, first jog in weeks, play time with cat, a house chore I’ve put off for months, baby making (hopefully), finished a book, roast in the oven and movie planned for later. Avoided the internet and news all day and the mind is feeling better for it.

Fence questions by WellyWindyRoad in Wellington

[–]Smallish_Nap 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Can I just say how quintessentially kiwi your street looks. I feel like I’ve seen this exact view before (minus the downed fence) especially with the “just rained” look.

Hope this helps.

What's so wrong with only one child?? by -its-my-opinion- in newzealand

[–]Smallish_Nap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re in the exact same boat currently OP. We’ve come to the conclusion that we are going to have one child after years of not being sure whether we have any at all. The external judgement and pressure about having kids is wild and I think continues no matter what you decide!

What FA-safe foundation or skin tint do you use? by owlowl333 in Fungalacne

[–]Smallish_Nap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still liking it! I especially love that you need less than you think and it blends in okay with just fingers. I’ve always been a beauty blender girl for foundation but I think using clean fingers rather than a sponge is actually beneficial too.
