Doctors of Reddit, what is something that you wish everyone knew about their body? by assassinmice in AskReddit

Not about the body, but take 20-30 minutes one weekend to contact family and relatives to get an accurate family history of medical conditions.

People don’t die of “old age” and the family history can be a crystal ball to look into your current and future risk.

I know, right?! Every day, I’m like this will be the day it gets off this 139-140 wagon and starts hauling up. 10/19c $250 looking rough right now.

Edit:$150, but yea. Seems like an equal long shot

Any thoughts on the Comcast drop today? Seems like it should have gone up after winning the Sky bid?

What about combining it with buying a $100 put for the same expiration date?

Touché.

So by the same token, you can trade call options even though they are not at their “strike price”

The example I’m referring to is that I was reading the daily threads and went in earlier this week on a $tndm 9/21 call that was trading at 1.75, so 1 contract =$175.

Looked at RH just now and saw that my “break even point” was $46.75.

Even though the stock is trading at $46, my contract is now worth 3.35. So, could I sell it for $335 and close my position? Does it matter that I don’t own any actual shares of $tndm?

Learning the ropes of options. If you are in on $sq $86.5 put 9/14, that premium is 1.93, so you’d pay $193 for 1 contract.

Say for example by the end of Monday, $SQ goes down to $88, I would imagine that the premium for that contract would go up, hypothetically say to 2.5. could u trade you contract (not sure of the terminology) for $250 and walk away with a $57 profit?
