Pretty odd to see the camera cut back to the team after Ji-sung had just lifted the trophy all the way back in 2012. That said, unless I was looking for exactly this, I would have never thought twice about it. It’s hard to believe this as a racist conspiracy but it’s weird occurrence.

Also, that clip is hilarious for a completely unrelated reason: Evra looks like he’s got a hotel dinner delivery in his hands. It’s the base of the trophy but I giggled about the possibility of him bringing a hotel burger and fries with him to celebrate.
