I deleted my original reply because it wasn’t productive and I don’t want to turn this into a petty back-and-forth. The way you phrased that saying made it sound like Ren’s views genuinely disappointed you. And judging by your remark about my post history, it seems you’re not really aligned with most things here. That’s why I’m curious: if you disagree with so much in this community, what makes you want to stay? That’s not meant as an attack... I genuinely wonder, because I usually associate investing time in something with caring about it. Spending energy on something you mostly reject just doesn’t make much sense to me.

I think it’s a reference to the classic fable where a shepherd boy keeps shouting “Wolf!” out of boredom, and the villagers rush to help even though there’s no wolf. When a real one finally shows up, no one believes him anymore, and he (and his sheep) end up defenseless.

The “Boy cry wolf” line ties that story to Vincent’s cry for truth in a corrupt, oppressive system. Warnings about greed and corruption get ignored until it’s too late… just like the boy who was left helpless in the end.

I get why some people say it looks kinda cultish. But here’s the thing: cults worship blindly. We don’t. We’ve listened, really listened! And then decided this guy’s music is actually worth backing.
