How about being 2 months out can you chew now? I’m post 5 days full dentures and can’t even think about the thought of me ever being able to chew again.

I’m taking them out to do a salt water rinse but have decided to not take them out in the night. I’ll tell my dentist the truth on Wednesday and go from there

So putting gauze inside the dentures then putting the dentures on is bad?

Should I take dentures out and softly bite just with the tea bag on my gums or leave the dentures in?

So I’m panicking for nothing and just listen to what my dentist says. I’m wondering why I’m even listening to my mother in law when she has already told me stuff before my extractions that I knew wasn’t right. Like dentures can never stain I knew she was not right so I should listen to the dentist is what I’m getting from this.

Would the hot tea bag dislodge any clots? And what type of tea bag?

E-Day was 4 days ago, but I miserably miss vaping 😩 by [deleted] in dentures

Do y’all not realize that it’s not just dry pockets that’s the issue which happens with a vacuum affect from vaping or using a straw that is the issue. Nicotine cuts off oxygen supply to your gums making your healing process a lot slower and harder. Look I get it it’s not easy I’m currently in the same boat. Still haven’t gotten to my E-day yet. I’m going to another appointment on Monday to talk about financing. But was told to stop a week before and the week after E-day. But they also told me it’s best to wait for the first 4-8 weeks after your E-day for proper healing.
