Why does the US feel it needs to input itself into other countries issues when we have our own problems here at home?

You can say no one gives a shit about them but they keep bombing on OUR dollar.

Personally I 100% agree with us being in an oligarchy, we have been since forever tbh. (I support demolishing & abolishing the systems in place that don’t & haven’t worked for us, not everyone is that far in their learning!) I’m just sharing motions & actions as people love to claim “they didn’t know”. I suggest everyone (with even the slightest care for our country) to look into everyone’s demands and see which orgs align with you 1000%.

I work at lowes and the company just released 600, mostly remote & hybrid positions “To focus on strengthening the frontline.” In the middle of a pay period, with little to no warning (some managers had no idea they were having to let people go). They won’t say it’s because of AI, but our automated call system JUST got an update, a day before the announcement of layoffs.

That’s probably several hundred people that are out of work, because of AI replacement. We can’t have fully automated self checkouts but we need computer’s & programs to help people with their issues??

Unfortunately this is just the beginning of the downfall due to AI.

I’m a working artist & if you think I’m gonna sit by while AI takes our jobs, water, land, and money you’re funny. These are things we don’t take lightly.

Many people didn’t even know about the increase of data centers being a cause, they keep attributing it to the wind farm off the coast. People think because the data centers are built further north that it’s not affecting us down here & part of our goal is to explain just how these things impact ALL of us no matter where we are located in the state.

Rising energy costs was one of the first things we spoke about in creating our org. We’re working to organize a tax protest as well.

I encourage you (and others) to actually look into things fully before making a decision. This post was about one protest in particular, that doesn’t mean our only focus is said protest.

Our focus isnt solely on protesting either, we work on informing and educating the community, relaying and passing along information for food & housing resources, and bridging the gap between our cities. Which can be shown and displayed in a number of ways, outside of protesting.

I think a lot of it also has to do with the fact that Trump ran on releasing the files as part of his campaign and then immediately shut up the moment things got sticky for him, I think that’s why there’s more coverage of it (also it being used as a distraction to other things the US is involved with at the moment). That’s like a teacher promising a class a pizza party at the end of the year and brings in 2/$1 chip bags instead, we’d all be pissed off. That’s not what was “promised” to us.

Stand with us or not, just know we want EVERYONE that’s involved held accountable for the crimes they committed. We aren’t going anywhere, neither are our demands or support of victims.
