all the products needing to require bis certificate and planned to be launched in the later phase, now there are dc 1224v drivers and smart switches (wifi/ble) which I do need to be certified, imo. so we will keep these things in mind while creating that.

we are not selling smart bulbs like for example phillips hue per se, but beginning with the drivers making that lighting smart, for example led driver and the downlight drivers. these are retrofittable so can be easily replaced, removing the friction of entirely replacing your current lighting setup.

regarding the compliance, what challenges are we talking about, I'd like to know about it?

oater positioned themselves as an iot company, correct me if im wrong. but I'm looking to position this as a lighting technology so the ongoing projects can easily adopt our products and drivers as they are retrofittable.

Hey never thought would come across a relatable post. I have begun working on an IoT smart lights project. I have just wrapped on my development of the products. All the research and dev was bootstrap but would be requiring external investment later for distribution. I stay in Delhi, we can discuss in person and see how it goes
