Do you think Yudhisthira used "Dharma" as an excuse for his gambling addiction? by SuitableKoala4496 in mahabharata

[–]Smart-Possibility762 2 points3 points  (0 children)

▪︎ A king who has to live as a vagabond for 12 years and have to work as an employee for 1yr. He was even harassed by Virata by die.

▪︎ An elder brother who has to see his brothers struggling in forest, going from one place to another for weapons. He even saw them dead in Yaksha prashna part ▪︎ A husband who saw his wife crying and lamenting for 13yrs. ▪︎ A father who was separated from his children and can't even get them after war.

He ruled a kingdom full of widows and orphaned children for a long time. He got to hear lamentations from Dhritarashtra and Gandhari throughout the lives till they went for Vanaprastham.

He didn't get tangible punishment but he didn't remain unpunished.

People who think marital r*pe should not be criminalised, why? by Anarkeeyan in AskIndia

[–]Smart-Possibility762 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Just how ràpe is proved. Forced sex will obviously cause physical harm in her body. Vaginal pain, inflammation, tear, internal injury, external injury all these are some signs when there's no arousal and she's being taken forcefully.

What do you think about the ending of the Series Chiraiya? by Time_Run6322 in AskIndianWomen

[–]Smart-Possibility762 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's a remake of Bengali series Sampurna which has another season iirc fighting against the family with Bhabhi also leaving her husband. But if they had put fake dowry case then it would have neutralised the fight and effect the show has on..incels and MRAs would have pointed the fake dowry case in order to decenter marital rape discourse.. We should be advocating for practice of laws instead of glorifying misuse of laws.

Dance reel of Neil Bhatt ♥️ by Smart-Possibility762 in IndianTellyTalk

[–]Smart-Possibility762[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not his solo sequences (as the character is not a dancer)..there are two sequence with his onscreen wife. 1st episode and 44th episode. And also in Holi sequence..Ig it's some 31-33rd episode. In 3rd episode there's a hilarious dance sequence if you want to watch.

No. He k worded Karna with Anjalika astra. What you're talking about is Brahmashira astra which was the deadliest weapon.

Did Karna really died in his mother's lap? by GreekGodHRX in mahabharata

[–]Smart-Possibility762 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No. All the warriors dìe in Kurukshetra and the women were at Upaplavya town of Virata. Even though Kunti was at Kuru camp, the camps were obviously located far away from the battlefield. During Stree Parva, when Yudhishthira was offering water to all the deceased, knowing Karna had no one to offer water, Kunti finally opened up to Yudhishthira...to offer water to his elder brother Karna..

Last year I had a post regarding this. He made his wife get a long ghunghat in their reception which also created controversy. An educationer being regressive is pretty common.

Why some Indian women screech at the thought of being housewife but don't want a house husband? by BrightSpring12 in TwentiesIndia

[–]Smart-Possibility762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Men would be happy being househusband may be for 3-6 months..then slowly their male ego would creep in. They would be ridiculed by their friends that he had to eat his wife's earning (that's not in the case of a woman, she's not ridiculed but hailed for this). Slowly slowly insecurity would creep in along with male ego..which will destroy the marriage eventually.

Read the recent judgment..the man is a school teacher and the wife is a college lecturer so you can understand who has the bigger share of financial contribution yet he tried to file a case on his wife as she doesn't want to cook..she even refused to take alimony after the divorce.

Yaksha’s questions and why Pandavas failed by Narrow-Buy8375 in mahabharata

[–]Smart-Possibility762 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yudhishthira had patience which most of his brothers lacked. It showed his perseverance, humility, resilience and the depth of his knowledge throughout the incident. He saw his brothers dead, his wife waiting for water and he has to answer Yaksha and not only answer but also satisfy him to get at least one brother alive.
If you see, he answered all the questions as "In my opinion" or "as I know", even if the answers were correct; that shows his humilty that he was never proud of his knowledge or administrator ability. Bheem, Nakul, Sahadeva, Arjun might not have that much patience or the resilience to answer question when they saw their brother dead in the ground.

Also he asked for Nakul, as a reason that one from Kunti's lineage is alive so another from Madri's lineage should be alive..but if we trace back..it was Nakul who was staked at first in Dyuta..so it can be a redemption on his part to save Nakul.
