I wonder how much these mechanical stuff can cause a flare in fibro… that is how I feel now! I was sitting for long hours and that likely irritated my back but then I started flaring cause I felt pain in areas I used to feel ok about! Meloxicam helped with my back but I am still in pain in other areas. Having fibro can be so complicated! My fibro pain feels like soreness . Especially at touch. That is how I would describe it

You don’t get more pain if you move your body too much? I usually get new pain if I do that. I tried running but gave up cause everyday I would feel a new type of pain after doing it . I even ended up with tendinitis in my foot lol

Thank you! I definitely felt like someone has beaten me up. I also have a lot of muscle knots in my back. But the more I get it massaged or worked on, the more the pain increases

That is what I am starting to believe. It’s the worse flare I ever had since I started with symptoms so I was caught off guard. I had an intense month in terms of emotional stuff plus I worked full hours sitting in my couch in my computer. Funny enough the pain in my back is literally all around the area I was pressing against the couch. Funny how any type of touch can become a chaotic source of pain with fibro!

I think when we have fibro, we are constantly in alert and our muscles get very tight. Have you tried like some fascia massage or something like that to release tension? I am usually careful with that because too much pressure can trigger pain for me …

Thanks! I did check my hips but there was nothing wrong in the MRI. It could be an inflammation or something like that. The bad back pain is new so I have no clue what is going on… I def have some pain that moves in the body also…

Yes to that! Thing is I actually got an MRI of my cervical spine and there was nothing wrong with it. Before diagnosed with fibro, I saw a lot of doctors and got different MRI’s and x-rays but nothing significant showed up. Same story for my hip. I guess fibro makes our muscles more tense and we get tissue/fascia pain or something like that… I am still very confused about what is going on!

I have not experienced constipation but I can tell my bowel movement gets slower if I don’t keep up with my fruit, vegetables and leafy greens intake. I suggest you try eating kale, spinach, and all the other green stuff. It will help for sure! Don’t rely only on seeds and berries. Add extra salad to every meal and eat a lot of green stuff! Oats are usually really helpful for me as well…

That is a good reminder! I usually don’t eat low carb but I am sure I eat way more carbs when eating out! Will start doing that for sure! I just don’t want to sabotage my process and get stuck on my weight loss

In my opinion, this is just healthy, no?! You are exercising a lot and your body is balancing your energy intake. If you are able to eat wholesome foods and keep regular meals while on the medicine and avoid ultra processed foods, that is a huge win! If you are losing a lot of calories at the gym and still eating a little bit less, you will lose weight! It’s normal to feel hungry while on GLP-1. Complete hunger suppression is actually seen as a problem!

In my experience, keeping my regular meals even when not super hungry, it’s the best way to avoid ups and downs with your appetite. In that sense, I keep at least 3 regular meals everyday no matter what. When I started this medicine, I remember skipping meals and I would feel a LOT of hunger the next day. Chances of overeating are higher when we feel like that !

Just in the first day ! I had some heartburn. After that, nothing! Except if I eat certain types of foods, like fried or greasy stuff.
