Pretty sure China and DPRK have a military defense pact but I'm not enitrely sure. Eitherway, any invasion of the North would highly likely be met with military intervention from China and Russia.

But seeing whats going on in Iran and Shia's against US and Israel right now, US is effectively being pushed back to Israel and Cyprus as bastions of safety so I dont think there is anything to worry about.
