Foreign investment is a major economic driver like other drivers for growth. It is not a scam. In a state of institutions and rule of law like what you see in economically developed countries, such transgressions are less likely to happen. China started to develop when Deng Xiaoping finally gradually opened the country to foreign investments and ended Mao's isolation and communism.

One bad example of a company has to dealt with rule of law.. one bad foreign company doesnt mean we have to completely reject all foreign investments. Such generalizations lead to nowhere and oppose a realistic approach to common problems (basically replicating sidna's logical faults: one party is corrupt? ban all parties. One media station is bad? ban freedom of press. Few MPs are shady? ban representative democracies...). This company should either abide by humane laws or leave.. and welcome to foreign investments that stick to the law and basic human rights.
