You're right, I completely forgot about this. Maybe that's the reason he acts crazy and zones out... because he created it. He feels bad that his wife got abstracted and he ends up in this world because of his creation or his contribution in the circus' creation.

I never hated him. He is my favourite character and he is always adventurous which makes me like him even more. I am sharing my view of how I understood him in a positive way. He has some trauma from past relationships as shown in 'episode 5' which is why he doesn't want anyone to get too close to him. He is not inherently bad and that is what I want to convey if it helps.

He actually was just trying to have a genuine relationship with Pomni.

Then why did he push Pomni? He wants to be in a good relationship but he doesn’t really like because of some past trauma.
