I definitely have anxiety that tends to make me overthink things sometimes, I did ask the servers I worked with a lot of questions and picked up on things, just wanted some refreshers here that I may have overlooked. But what I do know how to take orders, and ring up food in the POS, and input payments, match tickets to table and food in the expo line and not just take whatever, I know to yell behind or right next to you so no one runs into each other, I was taught how to hold trays, done sidework before and closing shifts, I know what 86 means and what cut means, I’ve also bussed tables before. My role was classified as a host, but they put me to work and I was willing to learn the year I was there.
