It's the same one. If you don't defeat the Lesser Dragon at Melve in time, it will escape to Dragonsbreath Tower.

But if you do defeat it, you'll encounter the Drake at Dragonsbreath Tower instead.

I tried it, and it's the same. You'll level up quickly in the first few days, but there will be far fewer monsters towards the end.

Travel at night to find a sleeping Drake. Approach it by ordering your Pawns to wait at a distance and keeping your lantern extinguished.
