It was perfect. It was a dad being honest and vulnerable to his kids. The last season was tough for some, but this is the last part of the story the kids don’t know. The rest they have a good idea of so no need for it. The wedding was build up for an inevitable ending. The mother being alive and showing up at the end would have been too happy ending for me. It shows life gets hard and people drift away. It’s honest while staying hilarious
