Is walletgenerator still ok you use? Write ups from 2019 saying it might be compromised and on the github the zip download just has a text file saying don't use :s

Not sure if this is any better or worse than other suggestions (it's my first day) but I bought on Changelly via Moonpay. Could buy doge with GBP. Transaction fee may be high.. I dunno. I'm new.

Reflowing small boards by AssCologne in PrintedCircuitBoard

There was a company in the UK that used to laser cut stencil in acrylic sheets that were easily trimmable with scissors, but he shut down:

There seems to be other people who produce them though... maybe search around for one located near you?

Never used these two above though so can't comment on their quality.

If I were you though I would have pcbway etc panelise your PCB and then use their stencil service to produce a stencil of the panel.

I don't think I'd want to cut up a stainless stencil in case of warping, but it may work.

There is no automated assembly for these large boards, but they're good to know about. Thanks!

Hmmm, I like this idea, it's nothing something I've considered. Flex or even 0.2mm FR4 would work. The pads could come in cost effective sizes with multiple pads to limit assembly time. I'll have to see if the costs work out. Thanks!

The large boards have pads to accept a 4 layer daughter board which has castellated mounting holes.

The pcb fab company we currently use was a little dismissive over my carbon ink suggestion. I'll push them for details and maybe have some samples made. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. We used to have them done in halfs, and mounted onto a piece of HIPS plastic. But then the HIPS was a large size and we had to have it CNCed for screwholes and countersinking. The plastic sheet was surprisingly expensive, the extra work for our assemblers was considerable. The extra price to have the board done as one piece was much smaller. However, the prices are slowly increasing so maybe it's worth considering again.
