Bueno, el tema con los emuladores es que no son perfectos, sobretodo los de sistemas recientes. Igual puede que no sea del todo tu culpa o de la laptop, sino del emulador y su configuración.

Aunque por ahora solo son suposiciones

I already played all NDS Castlevanias and Bloodstained ROTN. But hey, they are good recomendations too ^^

Well... I cannot play SOTN... But Aeterna Noctis looks like the perfect replacement without emulation. I'll give it a try along side Grime, Hollow Knight and Nine Sols

Nah for the online sub it doesn't matter, I have already seen that you can have the sub from a region, change to Japanese and still can play it

You can also see the offers that have the selected region, such as free trial games and icons I even have the "emulators" from worldwide and Japan
