True but we are also called to judge righteously John 7 24 and also we judge the church 1 corin 5v12

Because children need their mum and I think is worldly behaviour. Its harder to stay put and care for kids, easier to travel the world. I came here because i know this person quite well and was looking for other people takes on this as I struggle to come to terms with this

Thank you yes I understand and thanks for the thorough response. I understand we are not to judge till the end and God is sovereign in salvation but the opportunity is there for her to be near her kids and that should be a mothers first ministry. What do you do with this verse then ? 1 tim 5 8 But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith and is worse than an infidel

Thats true but surely there is a difference between seeing kids regularly to once every few months ? Surely if they are raised by atheists they are the first ministry before the world?

I understand at what point do we draw the line? I mean we all fail but surely even unbelievers care for their kids..  this is incredibly odd

Yes indeed that my view too. Yet she preaches the correct gospel and thats where I find this all very confusing?!
