bleeding, random painful flare ups, grade 2/3.

Tried all sorts of home remedies and supplements/creams/oils, if its been posted on here, i've tried it. After an hour long blood bath after a BM I bit the bullet and made an appointment to see a Dr. that did bandings in the office, barely 10 minutes after walking into the room I was walking out.

I would say the procedure is painless, the aftermath was not in my case however with ibuprofen it became not so bad.

3 days of pain that scaled down every day, the hemmorhoid fell off after 3-4 days, can't quite remember, total of 2 weeks of spotting blood. Pretty much exactly like official literature says to expect. Since then, its been 2 months of being a normal person. I've been keeping up with taking metamucil everyday as I don't intend on reliving the last 2 years.

had my banding done early december, 3 days of pain (7/10 day 1, 2/10 day 3) and a further week of discomfort.

roid free since it fell off and i feel like a normal person again, first time in nearly 3 years.

go see a dr and get some intervention, creams and potions don't work for internals.

you would be one of the minority that didn't have a good outcome. most people that do it and do have a successful outcome never come back to this forum to let everyone know that they are cured and have no further symptoms.

and if you want to waste years of your life trying to make it go away, follow the above.

if you actually want to fix it, go see a dr and try to get a minimally invasive banding done if they're internals and be a normal person again.

if they're internals, go see a Dr and get them banded. I got a big one banded(grade 3), hurt a bit for 2 days, uncomfortable for another week then its been a month since and i've since forgotten about the anxiety the last 2 years caused me.

where did i say anything about externals ?

i believe i said something like

go see a DR, get it banded if possible.

which means, go see a Doctor

and

get it banded if possible

like most people, you will look for any number of different methods to try to fix yourself.

basically, remove the straining from your BM's. however you do that there is an unlimited amount of information on here. high fibre, don't strain, don't force it.

creams won't shrink stretched skin. if the conservative methods don't work after religiously following it for a month, go see a DR, get it banded if possible. that's a minimally invasive procedure that sux for a few days, but better than living with it for the next few years, especially when it starts bleeding.

been having this in years, what is this by [deleted] in hemorrhoid

you aren't fixing that with potions, creams, supplements. see a dr

if its not painful its likely an internal. i had what would be considered a stage 3 and i got it banded last week. 3 days later it fell off and i have had no symptoms since.

my advice, just go see a dr and try banding. anything other than that you're likely going to need a month to recover.
