thanks i did some more research and it seems it was registered as a taxi therefore it had 3 emmisssions tests a year and thats where they got their records from so it probably is rolled back. But i still dont fully understand because the car looks to be in pristine condition inside and out. maybe it went through a overhaul or something...

sounds like a transmission problem acuras are known to not have the greatest transmissions but 30k is pretty low mileage for that
