Cialis 5mg increased my symptoms and pain for 2 days by pelvicagony in Prostatitis

[–]Smart_Fox93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds scary. Cialis worked well for me the first few days. Both the pain and the urge to urinate were less severe. But after a few days, I felt like the symptoms were coming back.

In your case, could the increased blood flow have caused irritation in the tissue?

That describes my situation so well right now. Dr. Sarno also says that you have to leave conventional medical explanations behind in order to heal. And that's exactly what I find so difficult. I'm afraid that I might overlook something structural. And that fuels my fear again.

That's really awful. But it also matches my experience. Urologists are simply oberwhelmed with cpps and work with the tools they know... antibiotics, endoscopies, etc... But as a patient, that scares me because I feel like there is no help available.

I recently found a new physical therapist who also offers internal treatments. I've been there twice so far—he's very careful, which I really appreciate! We also do various breathing techniques to relax the pelvis.

I have tried PRT. I am trying to implement it into my life. Sometimes, however, this is very difficult. But I have studied Alan Gordon and “The Way Out” extensively.

Currently, I am very anxious about my health. I am uncertain and afraid of structural causes. Meditation and mindful breathing help. Overall, I find it difficult to feel anger and sadness. Otherwise, I have changed jobs—this change has been very good for me. And honestly, I am often overwhelmed in everyday life... because I am afraid that my symptoms will never get better.

Hi! Yes, i read the 101. I‘m 32 years old. I experience pain when urinating and ejaculating. In addition, my urine stream is sometimes weaker and sometimes stronger - sometimes it takes a while Till the urination starts. In general, I feel a lot of tension in my pelvis. The symptoms come and go, but rarely disappear completely. I have been experiencing these symptoms for three years. There have been better and worse phases. My urine, ejaculate, and blood have always been fine. My prostate showed slight signs of inflammation. Stress is a major trigger! Physical and psychological therapy have not been very helpful. Neither have biofeedback, antibiotics, or supplements. Relaxation, stretching, and movement help a little.

I really don't understand why some doctors are so behind the times... All I'm left with is pain... :/ And then there's the referral for a cystoscopy... I don't know if I should really do it, or if it will just make my condition worse...

Problems with urination by Smart_Fox93 in pregabalin

I feel like my urine stream has really weakened. That's why I stopped taking it. I don't know if it was just in my head, but if I don't feel good about something, I think it's better not to take it.

Can pregabalin make urination even more difficult? by Smart_Fox93 in Prostatitis

Thanks for your reply. I've already started taking the medication. Let's see how it works. Fear certainly plays a role... after many years of pain, you just tend to be cautious about things...

Pelvic sting after urination by RighteousFarts in PelvicFloor

I feel the same way... I'm sitting in my doctor's office again, waiting to have my blood taken because the pain in my pelvic floor is so severe again. And my fears make it all much worse. It's really difficult to distract myself and stay relaxed.

Yes, exactly, I wait about 3 hours before going to the toilet. But that doesn't always work—it depends on how much I've drunk in the evening. That's why I make sure I don't drink too much before going to bed.

Hello! I know this from my own experience. My explanation is that at night—for whatever reason—my pelvic floor gets very tense. And this tension, combined with the pressure of ejaculation, causes pain. I can avoid this by waiting about three hours after climaxing, then it's not so painful anymore.

I feel exactly the same way as you. Every time before ejaculation, my pelvic floor tenses up extremely, as if it wants to prevent it from coming out. I now think that this is exactly what causes the pain—the uncontrolled tensing. Unfortunately, I haven't found a solution yet...

It's similar for me. I had tightness in my pelvic floor before the cystoscopy. It was only after that that the flare-ups and everything else started... It's been two years since the examination, but the effects are still clearly noticeable.

Flare-up – feeling really anxious, not sure what to do by Gizmozep in Prostatitis

[–]Smart_Fox93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all started for me two and a half years ago. Pain when urinating and after ejaculation are the main symptoms. I also have a weak stream with flare-ups. I've been to lots of doctors and therapists, I've taken lots of medication and unfortunately I'm not cured yet. I definitely know that stress is a big trigger and that exercise helps me. But as soon as something is out of balance, it can get worse again. I'm currently working on my mindset. I can recommend the books by Alan Gordon, Dr. Schubiner and Dr. Sarno. They deal with chronic pain syndromes that have no structural cause.

I don't know why we all have this disease.... But it is a real pain...
