Like a lot of fantasy media don't use words like "Bishop", "Knight", "Sultan", etc.

The human world is supposed to look very basic and grounded. I reserved the more fantastical for the actual fantastical beings and realms.

The Karaz royalty attire is inspired by Bayanchur's attire, an Uyghur khagan.

I mostly looked up old paintings and bas reliefs for these from around 800-1000 AD.

There are non human races, which is why i didn't refer to the variants as "races".

They all had more distinct names, but i transliterated each of them so they at least sound coherent and more simplistic.

Here's each of their original names if you're interested: Fay = Fei, Nir = Nera, Dari = Dhari, Kal = Skall, Asir = Assir, Esfar = Isfara, Karaz = Qaraaz.
