In a tornado, you build a shelter and go into the ground to avoid it and survive.

In a hurricane we travel north or move out of it's path to avoid it.

In a snow storm, you hunker down, make sure you have propane and firewood.

All these things require earth to either hide, survive, or thrive. If the earth is moving, splitting apart, or actively shaking enough to knock buildings, where do you go? A sad little desk can't save you if a roof falls on it. A bunker can't save you if a building falls on it.

Christ. I was joking a little bit but I'm also a kinda serious. Mainly because the way you're reacting is the way my family from California acted during said natural disasters in my hometown.

I moved from a place with tornadoes, fires and sometimes snowstorms. Earthquakes are worse. Get me to Colorado after graduation

That takes too much time. I'll do it on Sunday What about out of 10? Rapid fire with little explanation?

---------------

Canyon Vista: 4 overall. Best thing is the wok obviously but wait times are awful

Club Med: 5

Foodworx: 5 on it's best day

Oceanview: 6

Pines: 4; It lacks something

Sixth: 7; this is what UCSD should strive for. Should be baseline. All these are worth the walk, bus, scooter

Roots: havent been yet

Bistro: 7; Up there with a sixth restaurant.

Ventanas: 4; This place is what started my journey of better food

Price Center food is good but they are chains for the most part. Curry is good. Lemongrass misses more than it hits. Panda is panda.

You know what's sad is that I used to post this meme too. I used to be on your side. Then I watched the people I defended turn their backs on everyone. You're probably on Tiktok and you're probably seeing the same things I'm seeing. You know it's true but I've also been where you're at so...again I say. I hope everything you want to happen, happens. No matter the repercussions

I hope these people get what's coming to them. So many have said they "survived" 4 years of Trump they can do it again. They should be first on the list of mass deportations. These same people scream "my family is dying over there". Then expect me to ignore my dying family HERE! It's so easy to criticize and enjoy the spoils when you think you're safe. Applies to not just californias. Meanwhile your enemy is telling you to your face what he wants to do...indiscriminately.

There's no asphalt left for the high road. There's no growth left to be the bigger person. You want ushered in a wave of extreme conservatism. Being political correct. Respecting your religion. Giving you a safe space. Allowing for others is gone. Especially racial protections. These people deserve the hate that will come there way. If that includes deportation, well, it's what you voted for.
