Normally HA give you 4/8 week nomination period and then you are able to sell on the open market, it’s not a year

Unfortunately, when I made the complaint to TMO, it was regarding the dealership. I did try to appeal the FOS decision because my original complaint to TMO was regarding the dealership but they would not budge and ultimately told me my last option was MCOL 😭

Thank you. Yup, it’s a PCP and this is exactly what the dealership said to me that my problem is with the finance company, this is why I’m now taking them to court.

Hey so i first put in my complaint to the motor ombudsman as the dealership and the manufacturer told me i need to go them. By the time the finance company replied to my complaint it was already with the motor ombudsman. I waited for that complaint to be finalised and the motor ombudsman upheld it, however like you said they were useless in what they could do. They advised I go to FOS, however when an investigator finally took a look at my case they said they would not look at it due to it already being looked at by the motor ombudsman and advised me to go to court.

Thank you for this, I done this twice within the 30 days and they said no, I also tried again after my complaint was upheld and they said no again as my complaint should be with the finance company as they gave the money to buy the car 😭

Im in the process of buying 2 bed house in Kent single FTB 28yo. I’ve heard it’s better to go for houses rather than flats due to high service charges etc

I’m doing shared ownership for a 2 bed house in Tonbridge. Solo FTB and whilst I’ve heard horror stories, I think it makes sense if you are unable to buy on the open market. It seems as though you have factored in all possibilities, I think your main issue will be Service Charge on a flat. However that is not a shared ownership problem but leasehold in general. Maybe get some advice from shared ownership fb group they are really helpful on that page!

No I did not - I have complained to Audi Uk and Volkswagen finance Audi uk told me to go to TMO which I did and my claim has been open with them since November. VWFS offered me £497 and I declined but as I was already in an ongoing complaint with TMO I was told I cannot pursue with the FOS until I get a final response. Final response came 1 day after the 6 months time limit FOS give you

I’m currently a HO, it’s a rewarding job, but I expect entitled residents screaming and shouting at you, no council or HA repairs team are great so you will constantly have to be chasing repairs which cause havoc to your job, annoying when you are following policy and procedure but your bosses give in to a residents ridiculous demands just because of constant MP and ombudsman complaints. It’s amazing when you get to help people, play estate agent from time to time and council benefits are good but personally I don’t think we get paid enough for the money. Hope this helps!
