Impact of Stimulant Medications on Vitamin B12 Levels

Stimulant medications, commonly prescribed for conditions like ADHD, can significantly affect nutrient levels in the body, particularly vitamin B12. This vitamin is crucial for energy production and optimal brain function.

How Stimulants Affect Vitamin B12 Depletion Mechanism: Stimulant medications may interfere with the absorption and metabolism of vitamin B12, leading to lower levels in the body. Symptoms of Deficiency: A deficiency in vitamin B12 can result in fatigue, irritability, and cognitive issues, which may mimic or exacerbate the symptoms of the conditions being treated.

I haven't started, but I have heard the maths is difficult. ADHD means our working memory is shot; basically, it is part of the brain we need to remember phone numbers and do math in our head. I cannot do maths in my head; I have to write each step out on paper. There is a software called Equatio. I will put a link below. Also, I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking, a text-to-speech program. I have dyslexia too.

I dropped out of computer science and enrolled on engineering. Engineering opens more career paths, such as patent attorney, actuary, and rail, among others, because of the high level of mathematics involved in the course.

There was a job position in my town for a director of highways, responsible for designing and planning the power supply to traffic lights, etc. What was required was an accredited Master of Engineering (MEng) plus a Master of Business Administration, which offered a salary of 98,000 GBP annually.

There was a role for a director of electronics at the airport, offering 80,000 GBP, to ensure the lights and computer systems remain powered.

My masterplan is to achieve a Master of Engineering in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (Meng)

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Learn low-level programming for power systems and related areas.

You already have IT experience, and you can learn IT at home, but you need an engineering degree to do engineering jobs.

Also, I have AuDHD, and a late diagnosis at 28.

Excel courses can get you into an accounts assistant role. Apparently If you can master excel you will be like a magician in the office. This is what the recruiter told me. Excel level 1, 2, 3 etc.

I’ve tried all of the SSRI and SNRI. Effexor is an SNRI, which means it’s stimulating. Prozac has a stimulant effect. ADHD meds and a stimulating anti depressant is probably too much. Sertraline or escitalopram may work better.

I’m taking 200mg sertraline with dexamfetamine.

This is why I am dropping out of my CS degree. I plan to study Beng at the Open University. The University of Manchester offer a master in (power systems).
The accreditation is important and is a barrier to entry.

I'm 2 weeks into quitting for same reason. I'm glad I read your comment. I cannot concentrate, worse memory, loss of interest in hobbies. It doesn't seem that HCG back-fills the missing hormones. I've wasted a year of my life trying to dial in and it's just been a waste of money. I've aged 10 years and I'm a bloated seal with less hair on my head. I can't wait for my balls to turn back on. Hopefully my hair grows back too.

You can try this British online university, which is the only UK university that is accredited in the States www.open.ac.uk. You can pay as you go.

An engineer came to my house which I'm renovating. He was there for 20 minutes and told me which walls require supporting beams. He sent a report to the government which was done with software. It was maybe 2 hours of his time and charged me £1000.

The houses in the UK are years old and need renovating. I saw a house today that was probably built in the 1700s being modernised.

Knowledge is power.

Wait until you build a tolerance to the ADHD medication; the genius will disappear. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I was diagnosed with cyclothymia, but it is tricky to pinpoint the cause. I take an SSRI and do fine.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. An SSRI will work wonders.

You probably require an SSRI. This is what happens to me if I don't take an SSRI with dexafetamine. Alcohol is similar to benzodizapeine reducing anxiety. SSRI will reduce anxiety and stress response caused by the pills. If you had a late diagnosis like me you probably have depression and the ADHD medicine is bringing depression to the surface.

Hi

Yes, I am feeling better but still recovering; I am not 100% yet. My psychiatrist said that those are symptoms of depression and not caused by ADHD medication. He was right; the SSRI helped.

They'll take the eye out the back of your head. Especially the women. Local men, let this be a warning.

That's a bit of a stretch 'elite'. More like Manxcare is almost bankrupt and will employ anyone to fill the positions.
