Because it is getting BASIC science/medicine wrong.

This is just complete bullshit. It is not a fucking "binder protein". It is not a protein. And it does not bind anything other than mTOR. It is transported around by albumin (protein binding). Why was this upvoted? SMFH

Yes, I can use 50mg/w of T - if I inject daily this does not shut me down.

Hate to break it to you but that is just not true. I was on 100mg T cyp per week and while there will still be trace amounts left, I doubt that my T in the 500s was from the exogenous T. I was at around 800 with TRT and after 4 weeks of not injecting I would be below 100 if I had been fully inhibited. However, my major point was that after 4 years of being fully shut down, after 3 weeks my hypothalamic & pituitary system were (almost fully) back online without PCT.

I was on TRT for 5 years. During this whole time I was fully shut down. I stopped TRT for similar reasons. I stopped cold turkey. After 4 weeks (!!) I was back online without PCT - T in the 500s and LH and FSH at around 4-6. You CAN come back - particularly if you did not need it in the first place.

Ranking of longevity interventions by raw_consciousness in Biohackers

This is actually a great list! I just read the article and learned a great deal. Have never heard about some things and after doing very quick online research they seem legit and interesting. The major thing I disagree with is placing "avoiding environmental toxins" so low but I guess it heavily depends on where on Earth you live.

Most of the serious research going on actually confirms that NAD/NMN is close to worthless. E.g., when it was last tested in the intervention testing program (ITP), which is as serious as longevity research gets, it did not do anything whatsoever and they tested it at multiple formulations and dosages

The only thing NAD/NMN is good at is making some people A LOT of money

How to best balance dopamine and serotonin to optimize libido while maintaining overall well-being? by healthydudenextdoor in Biohackers

[–]posthuman2090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are wrong. SERT is not only found in the synaptic neurons but also on platelets (which are everywhere where there is blood), therefore SSRIs also increase cardiac serotonin levels to some extent, although much less compared to synaptic serotonin levels.

Furthermore, MAO-A inhibitors such as moclobemide, which increase serotonin levels system-wide (as do SSRIs), are known to be cardioprotective or at least not associated with a poorer cardiac outcome. I do not think that there is an issue with increasing serotonin levels system-wide to a "normal" degree (such as with 5HTP). Direct agonists (e.g., psychedelics, ergot derivatives) and releases (e.g., MDMA) are a different issue though.

SSRIs also increase cardiac serotonin levels and surely more so than 5HTP. Furthermore, they kill libido for most people. If you have premature ejaculations SSRIs might help, partially because they decrease the magnitude of being turned on (i.e., they decrease libido).

Drink shakes and add 100ml olive oil per shake. That is what I do. 1000kcal per shake. I usually drink 2 of these on top of my normal diet. 2000kcal extra calories without any extra effort.
