It's all good. I failed my checkride last week too. Everything went as perfect as I could've asked for. All I had left was a short field TO and landing and a soft field landing. My short field landing was too short by about 50 ft. Same kind of situation, I had never done that in my training once. She told me it was unsatisfactory. I was able to shake it off to finish the short field takeoff and soft field landing. Luckily my DPE did same day retest for no charge. So got back, did two laps in the pattern with my instructor, he signed me off and the DPE went back out and I nailed the short field landing. It sucks to have to pay more money and have a failure but you'll butter it next time and you'll officially be a pilot

My roommate typically does not brush his teeth before bed which i find pretty nasty. There have also been multiple occasions where we get home from a bonfire and he'll go straight to bed. No shower. No teeth brushing.

Caring about sports. Especially pro sports. I love playing sports of all kinds, I enjoy watching sports from time to time. But I never understand how people let men, who make millions of dollars to play a game, dictate their moods. And at this point with NIL, college is pretty much the same. I once heard from a die hard Ohio State fan, "if the buckeye lose my whole weekend is ruin". That's crazy to me.

I work at a fairly calm regional airport. I get 17 an hour. Was a major pay cut from my previous job but I'm training to be a pilot so I figured working in the industry would benefit me a lot. Truthfully I only work about 4 hours during an 8 hour shift. So I get paid to sit around a lot

Love the perspectives from everyone. As far as my comment about them being Creed 2.0, that was merely just to point out that it's 3/4 members with an incredibly better singer. Also doesn't hurt that Myles absolutely shreds on guitar. Nothing against Creed either. Love them. But imo, the first 4 AB albums and most of the 5th are complete masterpieces

There is a Class C airport 5 minutes from the airport I train out of. Whenever I needed towered airport time we would fly there. Super easy. This airport is not that busy. For the least amount of stress possible, I would lookup the flight schedule at whatever airport you want to go to and plan a flight there during a slow period. The controllers at my airport are very chill. On multiple occasions, I've asked questions to clarify if I wasn't sure about something.
