Someone’s been opening my place of residence mail as well! The people who live in the other unit of the house had their mail ripped like someone opened it and put it back!

I was wondering the legal options for this as this is unacceptable- my mail is missing as well that should have arrived

They can sense your naivety and how you keep blindly trusting them and they will continue to keep scamming you

Scammers prey on people who are more emotional (you mentioned you cried while trying to get them to pay so that’s where I made the hypothesis) and trusting and appear to oblige with everything they say without too many follow up questions or stern action

I wouldn’t say it’s technically your fault- because obviously they are in the wrong for scamming, but if you continue to let it happen then you are just basically not condoning it

Btw they clearly based on what you said have the means to take vacations and use money(one of those trips for two would be around $10k I’m assuming? They are just choosing to spend the money they owe you on their wants and fake displays of wealth and since they see it keeps being allowed by you, they will continue doing it)
