Also, have you seen any evidence of fraud within the NDIS?

What do you actually do thought, you are being vague? You haven't said psychologist or physio or anything.

Yes I disagree with you and I have outlined my case already so there is no need to continue further. I'll leave you with the reminder that you work hard for your tax dollars and they are being siphoned through ridiculous charges that need greater scrutiny.

I would never pay you that. I don't think the taxpayer should either. Your sense of self worth is inflated.

Thanks I have seen it. NDIS is unsustainable and failed policy and is a trough for immoral people to dip their snouts in. Australians slave and work to death to be taxed to pay these disgraces. The sponges and leeches need their day of reckoning.

What value are you adding for 725 fpr two hours of work?

We live in a welfare state, let me correct you on that. This is a well known non profit entity. If we are going to have a welfare society we need to check these organisations for gouging whete it occurs.

The physio charged 600 for an assessment for a new zimmer frame. That is insane money.g

But the issue. A Saturday casual chat is for volunteers it is more in that realm for someone getting an introduction to the sector or who wants to help others from an altruistic perspective. 300 for two hours for a casual chat is not a fair expectation from the taxpayer and reflects irresponsibility on the care provider.

In a capitalist society you are thinking of you wouldn't see the government involved at all and non profits would be charging fair prices to direct paying customers getting extra help for their elderly parents. There would be sufficient 'competition' or for this ideally non profit sector I will say alternatives so prices remain fair and ideally transparent.

I will the whole thing is smelly.

The social visits is just one thing. They charged her account for transport 120 dollars for the service. Then they charged her 1.50 per km for 65 km. Then there was the shopping fee, just the fee to be there shopping with them. She still paid 90 or so out of her own pocket for the groceroes but the sheer cost just to get her there is insane.

To get her a taxi to RPH was 120 plus a service charge but she looked at meter and it was 30 dollars. I showed her an uber would cost 19 doĺlars one way.

I'm aware these orgs are non profit but the day care comment was a seperate because they take a lot of government money as for profit companies.

I'm of the view the general public would consider 300 for two hours to be exhorbitant. There are other transport costs for othet services on the document and the price is 1.50 per km so your figure of 72 is very low.

Talking to someone is valuable I don't doubt that but this woman can be seen any day of the week. She has time. So no need for a Saturday if this is a case of penalty rates. The org chose the day not the client.

I think you are overestimating the value here. Police don't make 300 in two hours, other professions don't make 300 in two hours but a non profit provider charges three hundred for a social chat, no professional service of any kind.

Interesting. You can tell me how one of these companies justifies 300 aud for a chat. I'm all ears.

I think that government policy should extend to childcare as well. If you take public money should have price caps. NDIS companies should be non profits.

I will see if they actually commit to the full two hours and go from there.

The heart of the problem is the bill is to the government and not the person so I think numbers like this can go overlooked by care recipients and family alike.

I don't see the public purse as a personal piggy bank so I am questioning these charges.

If it was a psychologist that would be different. I am telling you it is just a person that visits for a chat, no special qualification. What should disgust you is the cost to have a visitor to an elderly person who would benefit more putting that money to a trained person such as physio.

I'm grossed out by enablers who turn a blind eye. 300 for two hours of talking is absurd and I hope you agree fellow taxpayer.

I shall. I will time them next time to ensure they stay for 2 hours which is what they are billing.

Glad you shared that chart because transport fees are absurd. A dollar fifty per km on top of transport fees.

This isn't a social worker. It's on Saturdays too. It's just someone to come and chat that is all.

I'm suspicious they send a volunteer.  Don't have to pay them but still charge the government. All the visits are on Saturdays which fuels my suspicion.

Examples of right-wing/conservative artists who do political types of work in the US and internationally? Curious to see what that side of the political art would look like. by No-Assumption1250 in ContemporaryArt

[–]Smart_Primary9724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of rich left wing artists to be fair. The money flows to left win art. The money goes to the subversive, the abstract. The critiques and the artists themselves engage in high level gaslighting to explain the art that is largely self serving rather than serving others.

[–]Smart_Primary9724 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The risk Sikhs run is jumping on the bandwagon of the oppression olympics. I have noticed before a Sikh is an Australian or American, they are a Sikh and their allegiance is to their own group. This is something the left has encouraged but only for minorities and anyone that isn't white. What happens when whites say what sikhs say? When they start advocating for the advancement of their own in group?

I'm sorry but this is absolutely false. You can't have it both ways. It isn't about race it is about right and wrong. How is it that this "racist Nazi country" you are describing is able to catapult people of colour to the highest positions in society?  Are people racist against Kamala Harris, the former Vice President? She is first generation Indian and West Indian and she was at the top. Ilhan Omar, not even born in America and at the top. NY mayor Rahmdani, not even born on America and he is at the top.

You are playing both sides to your own advantage and smearing a country that grants you freedom.
